So the good news is that one of my favorite shows "Ugly Betty" is moving its operations to New York which makes sense since it is a show about New York (Then again so is almost every other show shot in LA). It's great news because now my plan to take over the world can also include getting on "Ugly Betty." The bad news is that Christopher Gorham who plays Henry will not be returning to the show. We knew it was coming from the storyline, but it is sad nonetheless. So today's post is my ode to nerdy shirtlessness. Goodbye, Henry! We loved the example you set of nerdy sensitive straight men being ripped underneath their argyle vests. This nerdette will miss you very much and probably have to re-read her annotated "Pride & Prejudice" to make up for the loss. Thanks to Superherofan.net, a website I often check out for good pictures, for providing both the news and this yummy picture of Henry. Once we get over this loss, let's all yell "Take your shirt off!" at Freddie Ramirez as Gio who is supposedly only contracted for a few more episodes. I can't deal with the idea of losing the ripped sandwich guy so soon after losing the ripped nerd, so we will leave that for another post.
In other news, pictures from my show can now be seen at Broadwayworld.com. While there is no shirtlessness in this production of "Man of La Mancha," I can attest to some very suggestive cleavage sported by yours truly. Lest anyone think that I objectify men without giving anything back, I offer these photos as proof that I am not a hypocrite. I follow my own two point standard, although the seeing the sun thing is easier for me since I am Indian. Anyway, I'm thrilled that the show is being documented since it is a wonderful production that's running for a just a few more weeks.
Off to scout "Ugly Betty" locations...
Yours in shirtlessness,
Nandita
